We hosted our first birthday painting party in Birdsong Studios last weekend. We did a couple of things to make the experience memorable and fun. First, we sketched out a number of animals on canvas, giving each guest a choice as to what they wanted to paint.

We had a couple dog designs, a cat, cow, and turtle. The kids jumped right in and produced some lovely paintings in about an hour, leaving plenty of time for cake and presents.
