BIRDSONG OPEN

 

Birdsong Studios 3.0 is open! Well, we've been open for a bit, but we just had our OPEN HOUSE and GRAND OPENING weekend. So, now it's official. 

We had guests flowing through the house, studio and Bird's Nest (in-law/Airbnb suite) from during the entire time. Many we super curious about SEED Homes and were excited to see a finished product. The families seriously considering this innovative, environmentally sustainable and affordable housing option were full of great questions. We are so grateful that David Blanchett joined us to answer all the technical queries. The further removed we get from the main construction period, the further removed I feel from the technical details.

"How is the insulation? How does it handle the cold?" Those are the most common questions. I can tell you that it feels warm and the R values are exceptional. What those R values are...I don't remember. I'd be making a number up. Those are questions better asked of someone from SEED Homes.

Thanks to everyone who attended our first workshop in High River at the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Centre.
