Originals Auction

There is something satisfying about pulling an original painting off the wall and packing it up safely to prepare it for shipping.  I was able to do that for three more paintings this morning as additional bids came in on our auction overnight.  My suspicion is that buyers are holding off as long as possible before making their moves, hoping to inspire as little bidding action as possible.  It's all good for us.  As the clock ticks down to the end of the auction on Sunday at 9 pm MST, it should get very exciting.

There are a number of pieces that do not have bids on them as yet.  Part of the reason might be that I'm not willing to budge on the starting bid prices.  These four attracted a lot of attention when displayed over the summer.

Ellie the Elephant, 20" x 30", acrylic on canvas

Splish Splash, 20" x 30", acrylic on canvas

Le Cheval, 20" x 30", acrylic on canvas

Horse with no name, 18" x 36", acrylic on canvas

In terms of Heather's work, there are a couple of really incredible pieces that are waiting for first bids and would be amazing purchases.

That is Mr. Bear to you, 14" x 18", acrylic on canvas

Friends Forever, 12" x 24", acrylic on canvas

Horizon Obscura, 15" x 30", mixed media on canvas

When you seek...., 10" x 10", mixed media on canvas

Our bidder's choice in support of the Okotoks Arts Council is slowly growing in value.  In this case you are bidding for the chance to choose between the black and white paintings of Yoda, Marilyn Monroe and Harrison Ford.  These originals currently hang in 94 Take the Cake in Okotoks.

If you have made it this far, here is a little reward.  If you haven't already done so, click here and register for our auction.  We are going to do a draw from everyone registered for a $50 SHOPPING CREDIT tomorrow, before the end of the auction.  If you get the high bid on one of the items, you can use your credit right away.  Or, you can choose to use it any time between now and December 31, 2020.
