An Open Book
For better or for worse, I'm an open book. In maintaining an active Facebook profile and writing an almost-daily blog, if it's on my mind it has likely made its way into the social media universe.
I had a call today from a news reporter who got wind of my Crafting the Message blog post, wondering if I was ready to announce publicly. It's amusing to me that my blog has so few followers but gets so widely read. I'm often surprised at who has been reading my daily musings about life, the universe and anything. It's nice.
I'm excited to get my election team together. That sounds far grander than it actually is I'm afraid. I need to find some help to do some of the logistical and financial legwork that comes with any election run. Honestly, I'm not a political animal at all and could be doing everything wrong--time will tell.
"Yes, I'm just a soul whose intentions are good. Oh Lord, please don't let me be misunderstood."
That lyric went through my mind just now. Do you remember that song? "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" by The Animals from 1965.
